The catastrophic sick leave bank allows an employee to submit a request for up to 30 days of paid leave to be used in the event of a catastrophic illness or injury. It is used as an extended disability benefit, which can be requested once an employee has exhausted their time off balance. Please note that all requests of catastrophic sick leave requests are to be voted on by our designated committee members subject to approval/denial.
