By enrolling in this benefit, you’ll gain access to medical consultations through phone call, email, and video chat. Telehealth will typically have you talking to a doctor within 30 minutes of setting up the appointment.

You’ll speak to a doctor who can diagnose your minor aches and illnesses, and they can even prescribe medication for the likes of the common cold, flu, pink eye, and many other medical conditions.

If you are enrolled in any TRS-ActiveCare medical plan, you have access to two virtual health providers.

Teladoc - $42 copay for the HD plan; $12 copay for all other plans. Mental health virtual visits are included at additional costs.

RediMD - $30 copay for the HD plan; $0 copay for all other plans.

If you are enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare HD plan, you are provided telehealth through Recuro at no cost to you. Recuro requires no copays. Employees not enrolled in the district’s medical plan may choose to elect Recuro Telehealth on a voluntary basis.
